My recent reports showed b12 on the lower side and i'm mostly veg so thats probably why. Apart from the supplement doc gave, what foods did u add? trying to bring it up naturally also.
My report showed low B12 so my doctor explained it well. Dairy, eggs, milk help, and since I am veg she added a supplement. If yours is really low they may even give a shot, so get the level checked first.
My amma made sure I had curd and milk every day. But for B12 specifically my doctor put me on a tablet because diet alone wasnt enough. Get tested na, then you will know what you actually need.
I tracked all my reports and B12 was the one that kept dipping. Animal products are best, for veggies its harder so supplements usually fill the gap. Just dont self dose, go by your level.
Eat eggs, milk, curd, paneer regularly, those are the main veg friendly sources. But B12 deficiency is common so dont guess, do the blood test and let the doctor decide on supplements.
