How to increase blood flow to placenta during pregnancy?
My last scan mentioned something about flow to the placenta and now im a little worried, im 28 weeks. Doctor explained but i forgot half of it honestly. Are there things i can do at home to help, anyone been through this?
Left side sleeping, drink plenty of water, light walks if doctor allows, and avoid lying flat on ur back for long. These basics help circulation. Anything beyond that, let ur gynac guide based on ur scans.
My doctor said staying hydrated, lying on ur left side, gentle movement like walking, and managing BP all help placental blood flow. She told me left side sleeping was the simplest thing. But if there's an actual concern flagged in scans, follow ur doctor's plan closely.
I used to worry about this constantly. What calmed me was my doctor saying just hydrate, rest on left side and don't stress, stress itself isn't good. If u r anxious about flow, ask for the actual scan reading rather than guessing.
I had a flow concern in my pregnancy and honestly this needs ur doctor's guidance, not random tips. They advised left side rest, hydration and monitoring. If a scan showed something, please follow up properly, don't try to fix it alone.
Light walking and some prenatal yoga (only with doctor's okay) helped my circulation. Plus loads of water and resting on the left side. Don't do anything strenuous without ur gynac clearing it though.
