At my 7th month checkup doc mentioned baby's weight is on lower side and now im stressed about it. Want to add the right things to my diet. What did u all eat that actually helped, pls share ur experience.
My mother kept feeding me ragi, milk, eggs and dry fruits and it did help. But I always crosschecked the diet with my doctor. Home food is great, just let the doctor track baby's weight properly.
When my baby was measuring small my gynac focused on my protein, milk, eggs, dals, nuts and dry fruits, plus rest. She also checked there was no other reason behind it through scans. So please go by what your doctor finds, dont just eat heavy randomly.
Dont stress too much if doctor says baby is slightly small, many catch up later. Eat well, protein, milk, fruits and rest properly. Just keep your follow up scans so the doctor keeps watching the growth.
Good protein and a balanced diet is the main thing, milk, paneer, eggs, dal, dry fruits. Dont starve and dont overeat junk thinking it adds weight. Most importantly let your doctor monitor it with scans, sometimes baby is just small and fine.
Be a little careful here, more eating isn't always the answer, quality matters. With my sugar issues I had to add weight the healthy way with protein not sweets. Definitely take your doctor's guidance on your exact diet.
