How to know baby heartbeat during pregnancy at home?
Im 20 weeks and between scans i keep getting tension whether everything is fine. Is there any way to actually hear the heartbeat at home or is it just doctor wali machine? curious if anyone tried.
Humare yahan to bas doctor ke paas jaakar hi check karate hain beta. Ghar pe ye sab nahi samajh aata aur tension badh jaati hai. Aap aaram se gynac ke paas jaao, woh machine se acche se suna denge.
Honestly, trying to find the heartbeat at home is a bad idea and totally unreliable. Those cheap home dopplers just pick up your own pulse or placenta sounds and create unnecessary stress. Leave it to your doctor and the proper ultrasound machines.
Haha in my 3rd trimester now, I don't need a doppler because the baby is literally kicking my ribs all day and night! In early months, only the gynac's scan can give you the real heartbeat. Don't waste money on home gadgets, just enjoy the kicks later!
Having gone through a miscarriage before, I know how desperately we want to check if the baby is okay. But please don't use home dopplers; if you can't find the beat, the anxiety will be terrible. If you ever feel worried, just head straight to your doctor's clinic for a quick check.
Yes, don't try these things at home because you might get anxious for no reason, which is not good for your blood pressure. I just focus on my daily pre-natal yoga and walks, and leave the heartbeat checks to my regular doctor appointments.
I also thought of buying those home dopplers online, but then I got scared that what if I can't find the heartbeat and panic? Are those really safe to use or do they just cause extra worry? I prefer waiting for my clinic visits.
