My in-laws are very keen to have a grandson, and I'm curious too. Is there any way to know if I'm carrying a baby boy during pregnancy? Are there any traditional signs or methods?
I did so much research online about heartbeat rate and morning sickness, but actually my gynac told me all these are just old wives' tales. In India, gender prediction tests are illegal anyway, so there is no real medical way to know before birth. Better to focus on your nutrition and what the doctor actually prescribes.
I used to stress so much about these prediction tests and symptoms, thinking I did not have the 'right' boy symptoms. But trust me, it is totally normal to have zero matching signs. My baby boy was born perfectly healthy and none of those dadi nani myths worked for me.
Oh god, I also spent hours reading blogs about boy vs girl symptoms and got so anxious. What if my symptoms do not match? But honestly, dont overthink like me, it just gives extra tension. Every pregnancy is different and both genders are equally beautiful.
Honestly, mere physical cues say boy but mentally I feel like I am carrying a little dinosaur inside. People keep telling me shape of belly and all that, but I am just too tired to care. Just want this baby out now, boy or girl!
People used to guess my baby's gender all the time based on how I walked, but none of it was true. I had a C-section later and when they showed me my baby, it was the best surprise ever. Healing took some time but seeing that face makes everything worth it, no matter the gender.
No symptom can actually tell u the gender, but staying active helps so much. I only do light walking and simple prenatal yoga because my gynac allowed it after checking my scans. Focus on your fitness instead of these myths, it will keep you happy!
