How to know you are carrying twins in early pregnancy?
My symptoms feel very strong and twins run in my mother's side, so everyone is teasing me. I know scan is needed but I am curious if there are any early hints. When did you find out about twins?
My doc said higher hcg and a bigger uterus for the dates can be hints, but the early scan is what confirms twins. She literally said all the symptom signs are unreliable. So ultrasound is the answer.
Twin mom here, honestly the only sure way is the scan, everything else is a guess. I did have crazy nausea and was super tired early on, but my high hcg and the ultrasound confirmed it. Two heartbeats, double the chaos haha.
I was convinced I had twins coz my morning sickness was insane, but scan showed just one baby. So symptoms can fool you. Anyone else thought twins and it was single?
You really cant know for sure without a scan. Some women have worse nausea or show early, and hcg can be higher, but only ultrasound confirms two. Dont guess from symptoms, wait for the sonography.
