After delivery my thighs have become heavier and my old jeans don't fit at all. I am breastfeeding so I don't want to do crash dieting. When did you start working on thigh fat?
Realistically with a newborn you wont get gym time, I didnt. I just did 15 min leg exercises at home when baby slept and walked whenever I could. Cut down on sugar in tea and snacks. Small daily things added up more than any big plan.
Spot reduction doesn't really happen, the whole body has to come down. Walking, basic strength, and watching your portions is what worked for me both times. If you're breastfeeding dont diet hard, just eat clean. It comes off slowly, give it months not weeks.
Honestly give your body some time first, dont rush. Once your doc clears you for exercise, brisk walking daily does wonders for thighs. I started with walks and slowly added simple squats and leg movements. Patience plus consistency is the real thing, not crash stuff.
First few months just heal and feed your baby, the fat can wait. Your body did something huge. Once you feel ready and doctor allows, start with walks. Be kind to yourself, it really does come back in time.
I'm 4 months post delivery and same boat. What's slowly working for me is walking with my baby in the pram every evening and home food, less fried. The weight especially on thighs takes its own time after baby, dont be hard on yourself.
Just go gentle, especially if you had a C-section like me. I wasn't allowed any core or heavy leg work for a while so I just focused on short walks first. Get your doctor's okay before starting proper exercise. The body recovers slowly but it does.
