We want to start trying in a few months and I am overweight. I know fast weight loss may not be good, but I want to become healthier before conceiving. What worked for you before pregnancy?
With my PCOS losing weight was hard but even a little helped my cycles. I focused on low sugar food and regular walking. Please dont do extreme fast diets, see a doctor or dietician, specially if ur trying to conceive.
Im planning too and my doc said dont crash diet before trying, just aim for steady healthy loss. Clean eating, daily walks and cutting junk worked for me slowly. Being at a good weight before conceiving really helps.
Before pregnancy a healthy weight is great, but skip the crash stuff. Balanced meals, cutting sugar and staying active is the safe way. If u have a lot to lose, a check up first is smart so u start right.
U dont need fancy gyms or diet plans honestly. Home cooked simple meals, less fried stuff and walking outside costs nothing and works. Get a basic health check before trying, its worth it.
Honestly fast isnt the goal, steady is. Walking daily, some yoga and portion control got me to a healthier weight before pregnancy. Build the habit now and it helps so much later too.
