How to lose weight in thighs and hips after pregnancy?
After my delivery, I've gained quite a bit of weight, especially around my thighs and hips. I'm looking for tips on how to safely lose weight in these areas after pregnancy.
I felt so insecure about my hips after my C-section. But once I started breastfeeding regularly and going for gentle evening walks, I slowly started feeling like myself again. It takes time, so please be patient with your beautiful body.
Honestly, with a baby who keeps me up all night, I don't even have the energy to think about my thighs, haha! Give yourself some time. Chasing a toddler all day is going to be your automatic cardio anyway.
Spot reduction is a myth, you cannot lose weight just from thighs and hips. Focus on overall strength training and a clean diet once you are fully recovered. Give your body at least 6 months before starting any heavy workouts.
Losing weight with PCOS after baby is quite a slow process, so please don't push yourself too hard. Focus on a high-protein diet, avoiding processed sugar, and doing light exercises once your doctor gives you the go-ahead.
