How to manage stress and anxiety during pregnancy?
honestly some days i just feel so overwhelmed and keep worrying about everything, the delivery, baby being okay, work. Im 5 months along. Does it get better and how do you all calm yourself down?
Whenever I felt anxious I would sit quietly for a few minutes, some light music or prayer, whatever calmed me. Staying positive really does help the mind settle. Take good care of urself, you deserve peace right now.
First, what you're feeling is so valid, pregnancy hormones make everything bigger. For me, journaling at night and limiting how much pregnancy stuff I googled helped a lot. Some days were still hard and thats okay.
Hey dont stress about stressing, that just doubles it haha. Off the phone before bed, some music, talk it out with someone. And if it feels heavy, please loop in ur doctor, they're used to this.
I felt overwhelmed almost every week in my first pregnancy. Talking to my mom and one close friend, instead of bottling it up, really lightened it. You dont have to carry it alone yaar.
Take a breath, you're doing better than you think. Try slow deep breathing when it spikes, a short walk, and step away from negative WhatsApp forwards and scary stories. Be gentle with urself.
My gynac said some anxiety is normal but if it starts affecting your sleep, appetite or daily life regularly, please tell her. Breathing exercises, prenatal yoga and good sleep help, and she mentioned counselling is totally okay if needed. No shame in asking for support.
