How to measure pregnancy in weeks?

Everyone keeps asking me how many weeks i am and honestly i get confused calculating it. Do we count from last period or conception? Someone explain in simple way na.

My gynac counts from the first day of your last period, not from conception. So week 1 starts from that date. The early scan also helps them confirm the exact weeks if your dates are unsure.

I just put my last period date in a pregnancy app and it tracked the weeks automatically. Super handy honestly. But the dating scan is what really confirms it.
