Third trimester and the constipation is just unbearable now, i feel so uncomfortable the whole day. Drinking lots of water but not much help. What worked for you ladies, pls share, im desperate.
Beta warm water in the morning and soaked figs or raisins works wonders, my mother swore by it. Eat your papaya and green veggies. But if it gets very painful or you bleed, tell your doctor, dont take any churan on your own.
Amma told me to have a little ragi and lots of buttermilk, plus loads of water. It really settled my stomach. Move around a bit after meals too. If nothing helps in a few days, just check with your doctor.
More water, more fibre, and dont sit too long without moving. Soaked raisins or a few prunes in the morning helped me a lot. The iron tablets make it worse so talk to your doc if its really bad.
Sitting at desk all day made mine worse. I started keeping a big water bottle on my desk and walking a bit every hour, plus oats and fruit. Realistic stuff that fits a busy day, made a real difference.
Oh god this has been my biggest struggle, those iron pills made it terrible. Did upping water and isabgol help anyone? I asked my gynac before taking anything though.
Home stuff like water and fibre is the first step, but if you are straining a lot or seeing any bleeding please mention it to your gynac. Dont take any laxative without asking, some arent okay in pregnancy.
