Going through ivf and my first transfer ended in a chemical pregnancy, hcg rose then dropped. Honestly im scared to even start the next cycle. For those who went through ivf, is there anything that helped u avoid it the second time?
With my PCOS the doctor watched my hormone support very closely during IVF. I wont pretend to know the medical part but I think keeping all follow ups and taking the support meds exactly as told matters a lot.
This is really something only your IVF specialist can guide on, pls dont rely on general tips. They check hormone levels, lining, embryo quality very closely. Ask them directly what they are doing to lower the risk for u.
I went through IVF and had one chemical before my successful cycle, so I really feel for u. Honestly there isnt always something u did wrong, sometimes its just the embryo. Trust your fertility doctor on the protocol and meds, they adjust based on your reports.
Many ladies here have walked this path. The main things doctors focus on are embryo quality and your progesterone support. Stick to the clinic plan, rest well and dont blame yourself.
I totally understand how scary the word chemical pregnancy feels after all the effort IVF takes. Be gentle with yourself yaar. Your clinic is your best guide here, lean on them.
