Third trimester chal raha hai and the burning after meals is killing me, sometimes i cant even lie down properly at night. I dont want to keep popping anything without asking my doc. What works for u all to avoid it in the first place?
Heartburn was my enemy especially at night. I ate small frequent meals, avoided spicy and oily food, and didnt lie down right after eating. Propping up with pillows while sleeping really helped me.
Beta, cold milk and a little saunf after food gave me relief in my days. Eat slowly and not too much at once. If it is very bad, ask your doctor for something safe, dont self take.
Small meals, no late night heavy dinner, and keep your head raised while sleeping. Both my pregnancies this routine kept heartburn in check. Skip the spicy and fried when it flares.
