Asking for my younger sister honestly, she just turned 17 and i want to talk to her properly about all this. Our family never discusses these things openly so im trying to learn first. How do i approach this in a safe way?
Honest education and open conversation are the biggest things, awareness about contraception and consent. A doctor or counsellor can guide young people without judgment. Shame and silence usually backfire.
Talk openly, dont hush it up, that is how mistakes happen. Proper awareness about protection and saying no is the real prevention. A school counsellor or gynac can explain things clearly and safely.
