I am only 12 weeks but my tummy is already looking bloated and big. I know pregnancy is not time for dieting, but I feel conscious because relatives keep commenting. Is it fat or just bloating at this stage?
Beta this is not the phase to worry about belly fat. Your body is supposed to grow now. Just eat clean, avoid too much fried and sugary stuff, and stay a little active if doctor allows. The shape will come back later.
You shouldn't actively try to lose belly fat while pregnant, but you can avoid excess weight gain by eating balanced and walking. Ask your gynac what's a healthy weight gain range for you, that's the right way to look at it.
Honestly pregnancy is not the time to reduce belly, that's your baby growing in there. Dont try to diet or burn fat now. Focus on eating healthy and gentle walks. Weight loss comes after delivery.
Reduce belly during pregnancy? Yaar that ship has sailed, there's a tiny human in there now haha. Enjoy the bump, worry about flat tummy goals post delivery.
Instead of trying to reduce it, I just kept active with daily walks and some prenatal yoga that my doc approved. It kept me from gaining extra without targeting the bump itself. Definitely check with your doctor first though.
I felt the same insecurity about my belly when pregnant. But trust me, dont focus on that now. After delivery and once breastfeeding started, things slowly settled for me. Be kind to your body right now.
