My recent blood report mein ESR is showing high and im a little tensed about it. Will discuss with my gynac in next visit but till then wanted to understand it better. Anyone else had raised esr in pregnancy?
Actually, my tracker app had a whole article explaining that elevated ESR is super common and normal during pregnancy. It's basically a physiological change, so you don't need to try and "reduce" it like a normal illness. Just keep your gynac in the loop with your lab reports to be safe.
Oh god, I remember seeing my high ESR report and losing my mind with worry! But my doctor told me it naturally increases in pregnancy because of the extra blood volume. Please don't stress yourself out searching online, just show the report to your gynac for peace of mind!
I had a C-section and remember my ESR was quite high during my regular blood tests. My doctor reassured me that during pregnancy and recovery, the body naturally has higher ESR and it's not something we can or should reduce ourselves. Just follow your doctor's advice and focus on healing.
Don't worry at all! High ESR is actually super normal when you are expecting because your body is working overtime. You don't need any special medicine to reduce it, just eat healthy and stay happy. Do check with your gynac once to clear your doubts!
I actually just got my blood reports last week and my ESR was high too, which got me so freaked out! My gynac said it's totally normal for pregnant women and we don't need to reduce it. Did your doctor mention any other abnormal values in your CBC, or is it just the ESR?
