Im in my 8th month and by evening my feet swell up so badly that my chappals dont even fit. Tried keeping legs up on pillow but thoda only helps. What did u all do that actually worked?
Elevate your feet whenever you sit or lie down – use a stool or pillows. Stay hydrated, don't skip water. Wear comfortable, supportive shoes, avoid anything tight. And move around a bit, short walks are good. If it's really bad or sudden, talk to your gynac, they might check for BP.
Dear, it sounds like you're going through a lot of discomfort, and that's perfectly understandable. Swelling is a common part of pregnancy for many of us. Please be kind to yourself and elevate your feet as much as you can. Always share these symptoms with your doctor; they can guide you best on managing it safely.
Oh god, I'm right there with you, my feet look like they belong to an elephant now! My husband literally laughs. I try to put them up on the sofa whenever I can, and just keep moving a little bit. It's tiring, but hopefully, it will get better once baby is here!
Haan, swollen feet is quite common in pregnancy, my mother-in-law also used to tell me. Try to keep your feet elevated when you are resting, maybe put a pillow under them. And drink enough water, this helps too. But always good to discuss with your gynac, okay?
I totally feel you on this one, darling. Swollen feet can be so uncomfortable and frustrating, especially towards the end. It's really common though, try not to worry too much. Just focus on resting and taking it easy, your body is working so hard right now.
Pedal edema is super common. My gynac told me to keep my feet elevated as much as possible, like when I'm watching TV or working. Also, compression stockings helped me a lot, you can get them at a medical store. And definitely hydrate well, it sounds counter-intuitive but it works.
Definitely walk a little bit everyday, it helps with circulation. And staying super hydrated is key, don't cut down on water thinking it will reduce swelling, it actually makes it worse. Also, try to avoid standing for long periods. If the swelling is sudden or very severe, or in your face/hands, pls tell your doc immediately.
I had some swelling too, especially in the last trimester. I found that short, gentle walks really helped me, and keeping my legs propped up whenever I was resting. Drinking plenty of water is also very important. It usually gets better after delivery, so hang in there!
Uff, swollen feet really worried me during my pregnancy. I was constantly checking them! My doc said it's normal but to watch out if it gets really bad or comes with headaches. So definitely keep your legs up whenever possible and drink water. But pls check with your gynac, just to be sure everything is okay, okay?
Oh god, pedal edema was my constant companion, especially with twins! My feet looked like balloons. What helped me was elevating my legs whenever possible, like using pillows. And walking a bit, but not too much. Stay hydrated, that's super important too. But seriously, those swollen feet are no joke!
