Finally bought a U shaped pregnancy pillow but honestly im not getting how to position it properly. Still waking up with kamar pain. How do u guys actually sleep with it? Any tips?
Sleeping was so hard for me because of constant nausea and acid reflux. I used a wedge pillow to keep my upper body slightly elevated, and tucked a long pillow between my legs. It kept me on my side and really helped reduce that middle-of-the-night throwing up feeling.
I always prefer natural comfort—just sleeping on your left side with a soft home pillow tucked under your knees and another behind your back works wonders. It aligns your body naturally. But if you have severe back pain or cannot sleep at all, please ask your doctor to check.
Honestly, you don't need to buy those expensive online pillows if you are on a budget. Just place one normal soft pillow under your belly, and tuck another one between your knees while sleeping on your side. It does the exact same job and saves a lot of money!
Using a pregnancy pillow can really help you sleep comfortably on your left side, which is the safest position for blood flow. I had a high-risk pregnancy, and my doctor strictly advised sleeping on my left. Use a U-shaped pillow to support your back and keep a portion between your knees.
If you use a C-shaped pillow, place the curve along your back for support, rest your head on the top, and tuck the lower end between your knees to align your spine. My doctor explained that keeping a pillow between your knees reduces hip strain and keeps you safely on your side. It really works!
