This burning in my chest after every meal is driving me crazy, third trimester and it gets worse when i lie down. I've tried eating less at one time but no luck. What helped you guys get some relief?
Oh the heartburn was the worst part for me, i totally understand how miserable it feels. What helped was eating small meals and not lying down right after. It does pass after delivery, promise.
Eat small portions, avoid spicy and oily, and prop up with extra pillows at night. Cold milk helped me both pregnancies. If its constant and bad ask your gynac for a safe antacid.
Currently in my 3rd trimester and heartburn after one samosa, life is unfair yaar. Sleeping half sitting up is my new normal. At least we are in this misery together.
I used to sip cold milk and chew some saunf after meals, worked nicely for the mild burning. Dont eat heavy food right before sleeping. But if its severe or constant please check with your doctor.
