I've developed some wheezing, especially when I lie down, and it's quite uncomfortable. Since I'm pregnant, I'm hesitant to take anything. What can I do to stop wheezing safely during pregnancy?
Honestly, in my 3rd trimester, I feel like the baby is literally using my lungs as a cushion, so wheezing has become my daily background music lol. I just do steam inhalation to get some temporary relief. But definitely tell your gynac if it's making you struggle to breathe!
I am also dealing with this wheezing issue right now! Does anyone know if it's because the baby is growing and pushing against the diaphragm, or is it just some dust allergy? I'm planning to ask my gynac in my next visit, but would love to know if others relate.
When I had mild wheezing, my mother-in-law gave me warm water with a little ginger and honey which really helped soothe my throat. But please check with your doctor if it continues, as we shouldn't take chest congestion lightly during pregnancy.
I've actually started wheezing a bit at night now that I'm in my 2nd trimester, and it is making me so anxious. I feel like my chest is getting tight, has anyone else also experienced this suddenly during their pregnancy?
Taking mild steam inhalation twice a day can really help clear your breathing. Make sure you are resting well and keeping yourself warm. If the wheezing is heavy, please consult your doctor soon.
