My skin has gone so dull and a bit dry since i got pregnant, im in my 3rd month. Stopped a lot of my old products coz im not sure whats safe now. What do you all use to keep skin healthy during this time?
I kept it simple, gentle cleanser, daily moisturiser and sunscreen for the pigmentation. Avoid strong actives like retinol, those arent recommended now. If you have any skin treatment doubts, ask your doctor or a dermatologist.
Beta, in our home we always used malai and a little besan for the face, and coconut oil for the body. Keeps the skin soft naturally. But for any rash or strong reaction, do show the doctor instead of just home things.
My app reminded me to drink water and apply sunscreen daily, the melasma was real. I switched to pregnancy safe products and dropped retinol completely. Hydration inside and out made the biggest difference.
