How to take care of yourself during early pregnancy?
Just found out im 5 weeks and its my first time, feeling happy but also clueless. Want to do everything right from food to rest. Can experienced mommas share what i should focus on in these early weeks?

In my early weeks I felt so tired and emotional, I didnt expect that at all. What helped me was resting whenever my body asked, eating small meals and starting my folic acid. I felt much calmer once I stopped pushing myself to do everything.
If nausea hits you hard like it did me, eat small bites often and keep dry biscuits handy near your bed. Ginger water helped me a little too. If you cant keep anything down at all, tell your gynac, mine gave safe support.
Keep it simple in the beginning. Take your folic acid, eat home cooked food, stay hydrated and dont lift heavy things. Book your first gynac visit early and get the basic tests done, rest will follow.
Honestly dont stress too much, your body knows what to do. Eat properly, sleep enough, take your vitamins and avoid junk and too much travel. Enjoy this phase yaar, it goes by fast.
My mother told me to eat warm fresh food and rest well in the first three months. I followed that but also went for my scans on time as the doctor said. Balance of both family care and doctor's advice worked beautifully for me.
I kept up gentle walking and some light prenatal yoga, but only after my doctor cleared me. Nothing strenuous, just enough to feel fresh. Combined with good sleep and water it kept my mood and energy steady.
Early days I focused a lot on staying calm and positive, it really matters for you and the baby. A little prayer time gave me peace. Along with that, eat well, rest and keep your doctor visits regular.
