My test came positive but ive been having this one sided pain and im a bit scared reading stuff online about ectopic. I have my gynac appointment in two days. How do they actually check for this, just want to know what to expect.
Please dont try to figure this at home, ectopic is serious. Mine was caught by hCG blood tests done a couple of days apart and then a scan. If you have sharp one sided pain or bleeding go to your doctor immediately, dont wait.
I totally understand the fear in this question, it's such a scary thing to even think about. Please just go to a doctor and let them do the scans, dont carry this worry alone. Sending you a big hug.
My gynac explained that they track the hCG levels and do a transvaginal ultrasound to see if the pregnancy is in the uterus or not. It needs proper medical testing, there's no home way. The sooner it's checked the better.
