Just found out im pregnant, around 6 weeks i think, and i want to keep proper track of everything week by week. Apps, diary, what do you all use? First baby so im excited and clueless both.
I used a pregnancy app the whole time, it tells you the week, baby's size, what to expect, so fun. Plus I kept a little notebook of doctor visits and test dates. The app reminders for appointments really helped me stay on track.
With my busy schedule, a phone app saved me, it reminded me of appointments and tests so I never missed. I also saved all reports in one folder on my phone. Keep it simple, track weeks, attend scans, note any symptoms to tell the doctor.
Easiest way, count from the first day of your last period, that gives your weeks. Keep a folder of all scans and reports, and go for the regular checkups your gynac schedules. An app is nice for the week by week but doctor visits are what actually matter.
I'm tracking with an app right now and honestly it's the highlight of my week to see how big baby is, haha. I also write down my weight and any symptoms. Do you all note down baby movements too? I started doing that in second trimester.
Beta the best tracking is your regular doctor visits, they monitor baby's growth properly. Apps are lovely for the excitement of week by week. Just keep your reports organized and attend every scan, that's all you really need.
You don't need anything fancy, a simple diary works. Note your weeks, the dates of scans and tests, and the costs so you can plan. The free apps are good too. Main thing is keeping all reports together and not missing the scheduled checkups.
