Just got one of those big U shaped pillows as a gift, im 26 weeks now and my back is killing me. honestly not sure which way to keep my leg or where the belly goes. how do you all position it?
Omg this pillow saved my sleep in third trimester. I think you mean the U shaped one. Basically you lie in the middle, one side hugs your back and the other goes between your knees. Took me a night to figure but now I cant sleep without it haha.
If its the U shape, you sleep on your side inside the curve, one arm hugs the front part, the other end supports your back. Keep a bit between your knees for hips. Side sleeping is anyway better in pregnancy so it works nicely.
Easy, lie on your side in the U, front side to hug and rest your top leg on, back side supports your spine so you dont roll. Doctors usually say left side sleeping is good later in pregnancy, so position it for that. Saves you from stacking ten normal pillows.
Haan na these pillows are so good. You just lie inside the curve on your side, one part for hugging and one for the back. Slide a portion between the knees, ho na that takes the hip pressure off. Adjust till it feels right.
I felt so much relief once I started using mine. I just nestled inside it on my left side, hugged one side and rested my leg on the other. My back pain reduced a lot. Try both sides and see what feels comfy for you.
