I bought Good News kit for the first time and I am nervous I will do it wrong. The instructions are small and I dont want to spoil the result. Any tips from someone who used this kit?
I used the same one. Collect urine in a clean cup, dip the strip to the arrow mark, dont go above it. Then wait quietly for the result. Morning sample gives clearer line, thats what worked for me.
Test after your period is late by atleast a day or two, otherwise hormone may be too low and u get a faint or false line. Use morning pee, follow the dip time on the box, and dont read it after 10 mins as it can show fake lines by then.
Just follow the steps on the box, take first urine of the morning. And remember even a faint second line usually means positive. If confused, do a repeat test after 2-3 days or get a blood test to be sure.
Use the first morning urine, its more concentrated. Dip the strip till the marked line for a few seconds, lay it flat and wait 5 mins. Two lines means positive, one line means negative. Read the leaflet inside, instructions are simple.
