I used to do a little yoga before but now im 14 weeks and scared to do anything wrong. Which poses are actually safe at this stage? Anyone here doing prenatal yoga, would love to know how you started.
I tried doing prenatal yoga but honestly, my mind was just planning what to eat after the session! Just do very gentle stretches under a trainer, and treat yourself to a nice healthy juice after.
I am planning to conceive soon and wanted to start yoga to make my body flexible. Is it better to start now or wait until the first trimester is over? Let me know what you guys did.
Haan, yoga classes are great for normal delivery but khud se try mat karna na. Always do it under some expert guidance, pregnancy mein risk nahi lene ka.
Yoga? I could barely roll out of bed, let alone do a pose! If you have the energy, go for it, but don't feel guilty if your only 'asana' is sleeping on your side.
Yoga is so beautiful for the mind and soul, especially during this special time. Along with physical stretches, try doing simple pranayam and meditation, it brings so much peace to the baby.
Prenatal yoga is wonderful for pelvic opening, but please don't just follow YouTube videos randomly. Join a certified prenatal class where they teach safe breathing and modified poses.
Look, don't overcomplicate it. Just book a trial class with a professional prenatal yoga teacher in your area and see if your body likes it. It helped me immensely with my back pain.

Instead of paying for expensive prenatal yoga studios, I watched free basic stretching videos online, but only after checking with my doctor during my routine scan. Save that money because delivery costs and baby shopping add up so fast!
Please ask your doctor first before starting any exercise. I had some early spotting so my gynac put me on complete bed rest, so yoga isn't safe for everyone.
