Is a pregnancy test accurate before missed period?

Im like 2 days before my expected period and the symptoms feel different this time so im super tempted to test now. But will the result even be correct this early or should i just wait it out? anyone tested before their period?

My gynac said its less accurate before the missed period because the hcg might still be too low to detect. Some early-detection kits claim a few days before, but a negative then doesnt rule it out. Most reliable on or after the missed date.

I tested 4 days before my period and got negative, cried, then turned out I was pregnant! So no, early ones arent fully reliable. Please wait, save yourself the heartache I went through.

Early negatives fooled me too, then a few days later clear positive. So dont trust a too-early result either way. Waiting a bit gives the real answer.

Not really accurate that early. A positive before missed period might be true, but a negative means nothing yet. Always retest after youre actually late to be sure.
