I was on this for my BP before i found out i was expecting. Now im a little tense whether it was okay to continue. Planning to ask my gynac at next visit but wanted to know if anyone else was on it during pregnancy.
I was on medication too and my doctor adjusted things carefully once I conceived. For BP meds you really need the gynac to decide what is safe. Keep your follow ups regular and let them manage it.
Please dont decide this on your own, BP medicines in pregnancy must be chosen by the doctor. Some are switched during pregnancy and some continued under watch. Call your gynac before changing or stopping anything.
This is really a doctor call, not something to take from a forum. They know which BP drugs are preferred in pregnancy. Please ask your treating gynac directly about amlodipine for your case.
