I get these strong cravings for chatpata stuff and anardana goli is my fav since childhood. Now that im pregnant im second guessing everything i eat. Anyone knows if its okay to have in moderation?
Pomegranate itself is great in pregnancy and anardana is just the dried seeds used for tang. In cooking amounts it's safe. If you're planning to take it in some concentrated form, run it by your doctor.
Anardana as a little spice in your food is okay beta, we use it in chutneys and sabzi all the time. Just dont take it as a big home medicine, normal cooking use is fine.
I just ate it the way it comes in regular food, like in chana or aloo. Didnt do anything special with it. Worked fine for me but I'm no expert on the medicinal side.
My family uses it for taste in dishes and I had it that way without any problem. As a normal ingredient it's fine, but if you mean any medicinal quantity then better ask your gynac.
