Have a function coming up and was thinking of getting waxing done. But thoda confused if its safe down there during pregnancy, skin feels extra sensitive now. Pls share if any of u did it.
Why spend so much on expensive salon visits right now? We already have so many scans, tests, and hospital delivery expenses to plan for. I just bought a good quality trimmer, saved so much money and hassle.
It is safe but can be super painful! 🙈 Your skin becomes extra sensitive now. If u really want to, go to a hygienic salon and tell them you are pregnant!
In our family, elders usually say to avoid such painful things during pregnancy. But my doctor said it is fine if the salon is clean, though she suggested trimming as a safer option to avoid skin infections.
I stayed at my mom's place and she strictly advised against waxing because of the skin sensitivity. She helped me find safer, gentler ways to stay clean and comfortable.
Oh god, the extra blood flow down there makes everything so sensitive! Getting a bikini wax right now might make u want to kick the salon lady. Better stick to trimming or shaving for a while.
From my experience, skin gets very sensitive due to hormones. I had a wax in my second trimester and got red bumps, so I switched to shaving. It’s much gentler on the body.
Honestly, in the 3rd trimester, I can't even see my own feet, let alone think of a bikini wax! It sounds like torture right now. Shaving blindly or using a trimmer is much easier.
