Since the start of this trimester my stomach is just not clearing properly, feeling so uncomfortable everyday. Is this a common pregnancy thing or should i mention to my gynac? Pls share.
I felt so uncomfortable with this in my first trimester, I thought something was wrong with me. Then I realised almost everyone goes through it. Adding more water and papaya in the morning slowly made it better for me.
Very normal, hormones slow down your gut and the iron tablets make it worse. Drink lots of water, eat fibre like oats, fruits, and a soaked figs or prunes in the morning. It really helped me both pregnancies.
My mother told me to have a bit of warm water in the morning and plenty of greens, and it did help. It is very common in pregnancy. But if it gets very painful or you see bleeding, do tell your gynac.
