My mom packed me a whole box of dates, anjeer and badam and keeps telling me to munch on them. Im 4 months in, just wanna know if dried fruits are actually good or too much sugar to worry about?
I loved them as a quick energy snack between meals instead of biscuits. Almonds, walnuts, few dates. Just portion control because they are dense, I kept it to a small handful. Good source of iron and good fats too.
They are healthy but I had to watch my sugar, and dried fruits like raisins and dates have a lot of natural sugar. So I kept the portion small. If you have any sugar concerns, ask your gynac how much is okay for you.
Great snack, kept a small bowl of soaked almonds and a couple walnuts for both pregnancies. Just dont eat a whole packet thinking more is better, they are calorie dense. A handful a day is plenty.
Yes very good, dates especially were recommended in my family in the last months. Small handful daily is nice. But everyone is different so I checked the amount with my doctor once, just to be sure.
Haan beta dry fruits are very good, badam, walnut, dates, we always gave them to pregnant girls. Soak almonds overnight, easier to digest. Bas thoda thoda khao, mutthi bhar enough hai, they are heavy.
