My mom keeps telling me to have alsi for omega and all, used to take it daily before. Now im in second trimester and bit confused if its fine ya should i stop. Pls share if anyone is having it.
Oh god, pregnancy dietary rules are so exhausting to track, and here I am tracking my 3-month-old's sleep cycles at 3 AM! From what I remember, ground flaxseeds are totally fine in tiny amounts, but honestly, don't eat those supplements or oil. Better to just eat normal ghar ka khana and save your brain cells for later, haha!
Same question, actually! I read somewhere that a little bit of ground flaxseed is great for constipation, which I've been struggling with so badly. But is it really okay to eat daily? I haven't asked my gynac yet, has anyone else here eaten them regularly in their first trimester?
Honestly, I used to put a tiny spoon of ground alsi in my oats daily during my second trimester, and my baby is now a healthy 2-year-old toddler running around! Just don't go overboard, moderation is always key. If you are still worried, simple home foods are always the safest option!
This is a very good question... Actually, we are planning for a baby soon, and I am trying to eat healthy. I was thinking of adding alsi to my diet for omega-3, but I am a bit scared. Is it better to consult a doctor before starting any seeds?
Listen, I am in my 35th week and literally too tired to even chew, let alone worry about flaxseeds! But seriously, my doc said having a tablespoon of ground flaxseed now and then is safe and actually helps with digestion. Just don't gulp down flaxseed oil or massive amounts, okay? Now, please let me go back to my afternoon nap.
