Bad cough since 3-4 days and we have grilinctus at home that i used before pregnancy. Not taking anything without asking my gynac first but wanted to hear if anyone was told its okay. This cough is killing me yaar.

Honestly I never let anyone in family take random syrups in pregnancy, even the usual brands. Some ingredients are just not recommended for pregnant women. A quick call to your doc and they will prescribe the safe one.
Please dont take any cough syrup on your own during pregnancy, even common ones. I made that mistake of self medicating before and learnt the hard way. Call your gynac and they will tell you a safe option for your cough.
Cough syrups need a doctor's okay in pregnancy, not all are safe. For mild cough I did warm water with honey and steam first. But if it is bothering you, ring your gynac before taking any syrup.
