I have this habit of popping a hajmola after meals and im 2 months pregnant now. Suddenly got paranoid whether all that masala stuff is okay for the baby. Anyone continued eating it?
Yaar I had a hajmola once in a while when I felt gassy, actually it didnt cause me any trouble. But its high in salt so dont keep popping them all day. Thoda kam rakho na.
Its better to just ask your gynac about these little things, they know your case. I avoided too much of these salty chatpata products to be safe. Once in a while should be fine but confirm.
I preferred natural digestives like ajwain water or saunf instead, felt safer to me. An occasional hajmola is probably okay but I wouldnt make it a habit. If acidity or digestion is a real problem, do mention to your doctor.
