We eat a lot of fish at home and indian salmon (rawas) is a favourite. Now that im pregnant im a little confused about which fish are okay and which to avoid. Does anyone include it in their diet?
Indian salmon is decently priced compared to imported salmon na. I had it once a week, fully cooked. Good protein without burning a hole in the pocket.
Fish like rawas is a good source of protein and omega 3, my doctor actually encouraged well cooked fish. She just said avoid raw and the very high mercury big fish. Cook it thoroughly and it should be fine.
Mostly fine if cooked well, but do buy fresh and clean it properly. If you have any allergy history just confirm with your gynac. Avoid eating it raw or half done.
