Is it normal to have brown discharge during early pregnancy?

Saw a little brownish spotting today and got really scared, im only 7 weeks. No pain though. Planning to call my gynac tomorrow but couldnt stop thinking about it. Did anyone have brown discharge and baby was still fine?

I understand the worry around this so much. Brown is usually older blood and often harmless, but because of my own history I always say please dont sit on it, just message your doctor and get a scan to be sure. Sending you calm vibes.

I had a bit of brown discharge early on and freaked out completely. Did others also have it and turn out fine? Mine settled but I only relaxed after the doctor confirmed, so getting checked helps the anxiety too.

A little brown discharge can happen, its usually nothing serious if its small and stops. But anything more than light spotting, get it checked. Better safe than sorry in early weeks.

I felt terrified when I saw brown discharge around week 6. My doctor checked and said it was old blood and baby was fine. So it can be okay, but I'd say get that reassurance scan, it really calmed me down.

Light brown spotting once or twice can be normal in early pregnancy, often its just old blood. But please, if its increasing or with cramps or fresh red bleeding, call your gynac immediately. I had this and getting checked early really mattered, dont take chances.
