I usually get my facial hair bleached, but now that I'm pregnant, I'm concerned about the chemicals. Is it safe to bleach during pregnancy, or should I stop for these nine months?
When I was pregnant, my tracking app had a whole article on this and it advised skipping chemical bleaches because of the strong fumes and skin absorption. Maybe try fruit facials or threading instead. I used to track my weekly skin changes on the app and gentle herbal things felt much safer.
Why use chemicals when u can easily make a paste of curd and wild turmeric at home? It brightens the skin so well. But if you have severe skin itching or any burning rash, please don't try home remedies and consult your gynac immediately.
I'm currently planning my pregnancy and was wondering about this too! Good that you asked, because I also love my monthly salon sessions. Guess I will have to switch to organic threads and clean-ups once my test comes positive.
Yaar, at this stage in my 3rd trimester, I barely have the energy to wash my face, let alone bleach it! Honestly, with the hormones, your skin is already so sensitive, so please don't risk a bad reaction now. Let the pregnancy glow (or sweat, in my case!) do the work.
I am also trying to conceive currently and my elder sisters told me to start avoiding strong chemical treatments like hair color and skin bleach. It is better to be safe and use homemade ubtan with besan and haldi. It gives a really soft glow anyway.
I know we all want to look good, but looking back at my pregnancy photos, the natural tan didn't even matter once I held my baby. Skip the harsh chemicals for a few months, your baby's safety is worth every sacrifice. I felt so emotional about my changing looks then, but now it all feels so small.
Don't worry so much about these outer things, your inner motherly glow is the most beautiful thing right now. Just pray, listen to good music, and avoid these strong chemical products to keep the baby safe. God will take care of everything, just stay happy.
