feeling a bit shy to ask this but here goes. im in my second trimester and my husband is travelling for work. just want to know if its okay or if it can affect the baby in any way. genuine doubt.
For most normal pregnancies it's generally considered fine, our bodies handle it. But if you've had any complications or your doc has told you to avoid such things, then please check with her first.
Honestly it's a normal part of pregnancy for many women, nothing to feel guilty about. Just if you ever notice bleeding or strong cramps after, mention it to your gynac.
Mine was a high risk pregnancy so my doctor had asked me to avoid anything that could trigger contractions. So I'd say if your pregnancy is normal it's usually ok, but for your peace just ask your own gynac.
There's no shame in asking this, it's a real question. In a healthy pregnancy it's mostly fine, but if you feel any pain or anything off just flag it to your doctor.
