I used to run every morning before pregnancy and i really miss it yaar. Im in my first trimester now and not sure if i can continue or should switch to walking. Anyone who kept running, was it okay?
Oh dear, running? I can barely run to the fridge for my midnight snacks haha! Jokes apart, running might be too jerky, so better ask your gynac first and maybe just walk.
My pregnancy tracker app says running is fine if you've been doing it regularly before, but you have to monitor your heart rate. Still, logging it with your gynac is the safest bet before u step out.
I used to walk briskly everyday which really helped in my normal delivery, but I avoided running to be safe. It depends on your fitness level before, but definitely ask your doctor first.
My doctor strictly told me that unless your body is already very used to intense running, don't start it now because of the joint loosening hormone relaxin. She suggested brisk walking or swimming instead.
