Is it safe to sleep in right side during pregnancy?
Everyone keeps telling me left side, left side, but yaar i naturally turn to my right while sleeping and wake up like that. Im in my third trimester now. Is right side really a problem or am i overthinking it?
Beta, left side is traditionally considered best for blood flow to the baby, but don't worry if you roll over to the right. Use a small pregnancy pillow or rolled blanket behind your back to stay comfortable.
Sleeping on the left is best, but when I was vomiting constantly, I just slept on whatever side gave me relief. Right side is perfectly safe, just try to avoid sleeping on your back.
I am trying to conceive and reading up on all of this, it sounds so sweet but challenging! I hope you find a comfortable position to sleep peacefully tonight.
I remember tossing and turning all night trying to stay on my left! Sleeping on the right side is totally safe and normal, so don't stress yourself out if you change positions.
Sometimes after a heavy dinner to satisfy my cravings, sleeping on the left feels better for digestion, but right side is totally fine too. Just stay comfortable and sleep well!
My saas would always tell me to only sleep on my left side, but my doc said sleeping on the right is totally fine if you get uncomfortable. Just use a soft pillow between your knees for support.
