There's a wedding in the family and the dhol and dj is super loud. im 5 months and people keep telling me to stay away from the speakers. does loud music really affect the baby inside? curious what others think.
Soft music actually keeps you calm and positive which is lovely in this time. Just avoid extremely loud harsh sounds for long. Stay relaxed and happy, that matters most for you and baby.
I asked my gynac this exact thing. She said normal everyday music is fine, baby is well cushioned. The only caution is very prolonged extremely loud exposure, like working in heavy noise daily. Casual listening is no worry.
Actually its fine yaar, i used to play music all the time. Just dont go stand next to the loudspeaker at a wedding for hours, that level. Normal volume music is honestly soothing, even good for you na.
Lol your baby is in a cozy waterproof soundproof bubble, your fav songs wont harm anything. I danced through my whole second trimester! Just maybe skip standing in front of a giant DJ speaker for the whole night.
Normal music and even a bit of dancing is totally fine beta, it lifts your mood which is good for baby too. Just avoid sitting right next to huge speakers blasting for hours. Comfortable volume, no problem at all.
