My back and legs are paining so much these days, second trimester. Thinking of getting a body massage to relax but dont know if its safe right now. Anyone got it done during pregnancy?
Oh my god, I wanted to get a massage so badly but I was terrified it would trigger something. If you do go, make sure they only do extremely light strokes and absolutely no stomach rubbing.
Actually yaar, normal massages are a big no-no. You need a proper prenatal massage expert who knows which pressure points to avoid. Better to ask your gynac for a recommendation.
Yaar, don't stress too much about it. A light foot massage is totally fine and feels like heaven, just make sure they don't do any deep pressure on your back.
A gentle massage with warm coconut oil on legs can really help with cramps. But if you have severe swelling or pain, don't massage it—just consult your doctor immediately.
I remember those heavy, tired legs so well, and a gentle rub was the only thing that helped me sleep. Just be gentle with your body right now, you are doing amazing mama.
Listen to me, don't let any untrained local maid touch your back or stomach during this time. Keep it limited to gentle hand and leg rubs, and always check with your doctor first.
Please be extremely careful. I had complications and my gynac strictly forbade any kind of massage. It is always better to get a green light from your doctor first.
With twins, my back was crying, but my doctor said strictly no heavy massages. I only had my husband gently rub some oil on my calves. Keep it simple and safe!
