Acidity has become my daily enemy in this pregnancy, especially at night. I had mylanta at home and wondered if it's ok to take while pregnant. I'll confirm with my gynac too but wanted to hear if anyone used it.
For mild acidity I first tried small frequent meals, cold milk, and not lying down right after eating, helped me a lot. For any medicine like that, pls check with ur doctor before taking.
Some antacids are okay in pregnancy and some arent advised, so dont go by what worked before pregnancy. Just message ur doctor, they'll either okay it or give u a safe alternative. Acidity is so common they get this a lot.
I'd not start any antacid on my own in pregnancy, even the common ones. Please ask ur gynac which brand and how much is okay for u, they'll tell u a safe one. Better to confirm than guess.
I cant say for sure on a specific brand, and honestly safety can depend on the ingredients and ur stage. The safest move is a quick check with ur doctor, they'll confirm or suggest something pregnancy safe.
