I have been using OGX since before pregnancy and i really like it. Now im second guessing everything i put on my hair and skin lol. Anyone checked if its fine to continue during these months?
Most regular shampoos like OGX are perfectly fine because they don't stay on your scalp for long. Just check the bottle to ensure there are no parabens or formaldehydes. If you're still doubtful, a quick chat with your dermatologist or gynac will clear your mind.
Arey, in this hot weather and 3rd trimester fatigue, just washing my hair feels like a workout! 😂 I use OGX coconut shampoo and my baby is growing absolutely fine. As long as you aren't drinking the shampoo, you are safe, haha!
I was actually wondering the same thing because my scalp has become super dry lately. Is the OGX coconut milk one safe? Or should we only use organic shampoos during these nine months?
Honestly, no need to buy expensive fancy shampoos just because you are pregnant. If OGX suits your hair, use it, just make sure to wash it off nicely. Or simply switch to normal Clinic Plus or biotique if you are worried about chemicals.
I can only speak from my own experience, but I used the OGX argan oil shampoo throughout my pregnancy and had no issues. My hair actually felt quite good. But everyone's skin react differently during pregnancy, so do what feels right to you.
I am also trying to conceive right now and have started looking into chemical-free hair care. I think OGX is sulfate-free which is good, but maybe switching to a mild baby shampoo or organic brand is safer during this time? What do you think?
