My stomach is upset and I have Pepto at home from before. I am pregnant now so I don't want to take it without checking. Did anyone ask their doc about it?
I cant really say if its safe, I always asked my doc before taking anything. When I had stomach trouble she gave me something specific for pregnancy. Better u ring your gynac too.
Please dont take Pepto or any such medicine on your own during pregnancy. I learnt the hard way that even simple OTC stuff can need checking. Call your gynac before taking anything, they will tell u whats safe.
From what I know that one is not usually recommended in pregnancy, especially later on. For acidity or upset stomach your doctor can suggest a pregnancy safe option instead. Just dont self medicate na.
Quick tip, just message your gynac, most clinics reply fast for these things. Dont risk OTC meds in pregnancy when one call sorts it out. For mild acidity small frequent meals helped me till then.
