First time pregnant and honestly the thought of labour pain scares me a lot. People around me say all sorts of things, some say its the worst, some say u forget it after. Just want some honest real experiences yaar.
Honestly it was intense but yes bearable, our bodies are made for it. Between contractions there are breaks and the breathing helped me a lot. The moment I held my baby, I forgot all of it.
I had a C-section so the labour pain part was different for me, the recovery had its own soreness. It was manageable with rest and the medicines the doctor gave. Take it one day at a time, you heal slowly but surely.
Bearable enough that women go back and do it a second time, so that tells you something. Yes it hurts, but the brain conveniently makes you forget. And the baby cuddles make it all worth it.
Don't let fear build it up in your mind. Yes there's pain, but you'll have support, your doctor, and pain relief options too. Women do it every day, you're stronger than you think.
