Im in my first trimester and me and my husband are a bit nervous about this. Wanted to know from those who've been through it, does it hurt or feel uncomfortable? thoda awkward to ask but genuinely want to know.
Its a very normal question, dont feel shy. For a healthy pregnancy its generally okay but comfort is key. Just clear it once with your gynac, especially early on, and you can relax.
For most low risk pregnancies its considered safe and not painful, just may feel different. If you have any pain, bleeding or cramps after, mention it to your doctor. And always best to get a yes from your gynac in early or risky pregnancies.
A little discomfort or being more sensitive is common, sharp pain is not, so listen to your body. Communicate with your partner and go slow. If something feels off, check with the doctor.
For me it wasnt painful, just needed to adjust positions as the belly grew and go gentle. Some discomfort here and there is normal. If your pregnancy is uncomplicated its usually fine, but ask your gynac to be sure.
It really depends on your pregnancy. In my case the doctor advised us to avoid it for a while due to my situation. So please confirm with your gynac first whether its safe for you, dont assume.
